New Release: Custom Airports

Platform 1.13.0 and Client 1.1.29

A new FrontierWings release (1.13.0) is now available. Alongside various bug fixes and UX improvements, this update introduces a feature requested by one of our members: personal add-on airfields.

If you have a collection of add-on airfields you dearly love which are not part of the standard FS2024 airport set, you can now add them to your FrontierWings database and use them when creating missions.

The feature is intentionally simple: enter a new ICAO code that does not already exist in the FS2024 airport set (FrontierWings database will check for you), add the correct coordinates and a few additional details, and the new airfield becomes available for mission creation.

You can also use this feature to save custom landing spots in remote locations. Found a beautiful place in the wilderness you want to revisit? Want to roleplay picking up anglers from a remote lake? Your coordinates do not need to represent real-world airfields — you can create your own personal landing spots wherever you like.

You can add up to 500 personal airfields to your collection.

Thanks again Coldfire for your awesome input.
